This policy explains what happens to personal data on junimata.com. It describes what this
website actually does — not what a template says a website might do.

Junimata is a brand operated by the company above. Full company details are in our
Impressum.
The short version
- We use one third-party tag: Google Ads, and only to measure whether our advertising works.
- In Europe, the United Kingdom and Switzerland it stays switched off until you accept.
- You can change your mind whenever you like through Cookie settings, in the footer of every page.
- Fonts are served from our own servers, so loading this site does not send your IP address to any third party.
- We do not sell your data and we do not use it to build a profile of you.
Cookies and measurement
When you accept, we load the Google Ads tag. It stores cookies on your device and allows
Google to tell us that someone who saw one of our adverts later sent us an enquiry. We see
totals, never who you are.
How consent works here
- Europe, the United Kingdom and Switzerland: nothing is stored and nothing is
measured until you press Accept. If you press Reject, or simply ignore the banner, the tag
stays switched off.
- Elsewhere: measurement is on by default, and the banner lets you switch it
off at any time.
-
We work out which of the two applies from your browser's time zone. We never send that
question to a server, and if anything is unclear we apply the stricter rule.
-
If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we record that as a
refusal and do not ask you anything.
We use Google Consent Mode v2, which means the tag is told what you decided before it does
anything. Accept and Reject are given equal prominence on purpose: consent that is nudged is
not consent.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — your consent. You can withdraw it at any time
through Cookie settings, with no effect on what was lawful
before you did.
What we store on your device
- Your choice
- A single entry in your browser's local storage recording whether you accepted or refused, and when. It never leaves your device.
- Google Ads cookies
- Set only after you accept. Google uses them to attribute a conversion to an advert.
What we collect
Server logs
Our hosting provider records technical data for every request: IP address, date and time,
the page requested, browser and operating system. This is what makes it possible to serve the
site and to detect attacks. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate
interest in operating a secure website.
Wholesale enquiry form
When you submit the form at /wholesale we receive:
- What you are asking for (samples, catalogue or wholesale terms)
- Your name and your store or company
- Your email address and country
- The product categories you are interested in
- How you found us, if you tell us
- Anything you write in the message field
- The page you sent the form from, and the site you arrived from, if any
Sample request form
When you submit the form at /samples we receive:
- The item and product code you are asking about
- The size, composition or customisation you describe
- Your name and email address
- Your shipping address, city and postcode, and country
- Anything you write in the message field
- The page you sent the form from, and the site you arrived from, if any
Legal basis for both forms: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — steps taken at your request
before entering into a contract. We use this data to answer you and, where relevant, to send a
sample or a quotation.
Spam protection
The forms contain a hidden field that a person never sees and never fills in. We also limit how
many submissions can arrive from the same IP address in a short period. Legal basis:
Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in keeping the forms usable.
Who processes it
We use four service providers. Each acts on our instructions under a data processing
agreement.
- Hosting
- Vercel Inc., United States — serves the website and keeps server logs
- Enquiry records
- Formagrid Inc. (Airtable), United States — stores what you send through the forms and sends us the notification email
- Email
- Google Ireland Limited — our info@junimata.com mailbox, where we read and reply to you
- Advertising measurement
- Google Ireland Limited — the Google Ads tag, loaded only with your consent
We never sell personal data. The only data shared for advertising purposes is what the Google
Ads tag collects once you have accepted it, and its sole purpose is telling us whether an
advert led to an enquiry. If you refuse, nothing is shared.
Transfers outside the EU
Vercel and Airtable are established in the United States, and Google may process advertising
data outside the European Economic Area, so using this site can involve a transfer of personal
data outside the EEA. These
transfers are covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, where the
provider participates, by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to a business relationship: 24 months from our last contact, then deleted.
- Enquiries that become orders: kept for as long as German commercial and tax law requires us to retain business records.
- Server logs: kept for a short period by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting.
Automated decisions
There are none. We do not profile you, and no automated system decides anything about your
enquiry. Every reply you receive from us is written by a person.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask us to:
- confirm what data we hold about you and give you a copy (Art. 15)
- correct anything inaccurate (Art. 16)
- delete your data (Art. 17)
- restrict how we use it (Art. 18)
- hand it over in a portable format (Art. 20)
- object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21)
Write to info@junimata.com and we will answer within one
month. You do not have to give a reason to ask for deletion.
You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. The competent authority for us
is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen.
Changes to this policy
If we add a service that processes personal data — analytics, for example — we will update this
page before switching it on, and the date at the top will change.
This policy reflects how the site works today. It is not legal advice, and we recommend having
it reviewed by a lawyer qualified in German data protection law before relying on it.
